For the day of the tost match, the Railway Department will issue I whole-day excursion tickets between ' Palmerston, Lawrence, and Balclntha for trains arriving in Dunedin np to 1.16 p.m. The box plan for the test match will bo opened on Wednesday next. The Football Association Management Committee heard the statement of a member cf the Brooklyn Club, who had been ordered off the field by the referee. The player said he did not hear the referee’s warning, and the committee decided to let him off with a caution, the members saying that far too much abuse was heaped on referees lately, and offenders in future would bo severely dealt with.
