THE AUSTRALIAN TOUR [Pei U kited Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Juno 15. The New Zealand. Hockey Association, at a meeting to-night, appointed Messrs G. Holland (Canterbury), R. Thompson (Wanganui), and L. C. Kent (Auckland) selectors of the New Zealand team to tour Australia. Air Holland was appointed convener. To assist the selectors Mr Thompson is to bo requested to pick a team from the Wanganui, Folding, Taranaki, Dannevirke, Wnirarapa, and Hawke’s Bay districts to play Mauawatu at Palmerston North on a date to be arranged. The Wellington Association’s request for a match with the New _ Zealand team was agreed to, providing that suitable financial arrangements can be made.
