Alleged to have stolen a mail bag containing CID,OOP in Treasury notes from the Cardiff-London express i.n February 2, Joseph Foster, aged fortyfour, who was arrested on provisional warrant at Clandelands, Hamilton, recently, appeared before the Magistrate’s Court to-day , Foster, who is described as a tiaveller, was also charged with havmg received a bag, which was the nropt-uy of the British, Government, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained 0(n the application of Uiet-devCC-tive Ward ho was remandei to appear next Wednesday.
