CHARTERED BY SALVATION ARMY 700 TRAINED WORKERS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, June 14. The Salvation Army has chartered the White Star liner Yodic of 15,000 tons for the purpose of. transporting 700 migrants to Australia from Liverpool in October, including 200 youths trained at Hadleigh farm and 400 domestics. The remainder are all married, and are guaranteed employment. Commissioner Lamb, speaking at a luncheon, announced that if:the experiment was successful other ships would follow, conditional upon employment being secured beforehand.
