There was a Rood attendance _ ofi members and visitors at the meeting nf the Rescue Lodge, No. 105, tional Order of Good Templars, which was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, King Edward street, on Tuesday evening, Bro. E. J. lies, Chief Templar, presided, and three candidates were initiated. Correspondence was received from Grand .Secretary Bro. G. Price and Acting District Secretary, Bro. J. Kinch. It Icing brothers’ night,the offices were all filled by the, brothers, with the exception of the organists. Sister Norwood relieving Sister Williams. An interesting programme was submitted by Sisters Kindtey and Cranefield and Bro. D. Holland, and the brothers supplied refreshments. Kncouraging reports were received flora the Aggressive Work Committee. Meetings are to bo held at Port Chalmers and Roslyn at an early date, with a view to reopening lodges in those districts. Greetings were received from Sister G. Symington, S.J.W., of St. Thomas’s Temple, Wellington, and Bro. J. Lumsden, of Ipswich. Queensland.! Bros. W. Pool and Allpress replied to the vote of thanks on behalf of the Hope of Dunedin Lodge, No. 100. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple met the same evening, Bro. J. Hilton. S.J.W., in charge. There was a good attendance, and a number of candidates wore initiated. "r-
