Shag Point, at Shag Point lAIr B. Olliver). BROADCASTING BATCHES At a meeting of the Alanagement Committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union it was decided, on the casting vote of the chairman (Air A. Al'Phail), that permission be granted to the Broadcasting Company to broadcast descriptions of matches-played under the union’s control f or the present season only. This decision reversed th- 1 decision of the committee a foH/rght ago.
