IRISH FREE STATE
ELECTION RESULTS Pre»» Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, Juno 13. Tho Free State election returns at midnight showed the state of the pm ties to be as follows: Government 211 National League 5 Dc Valeraites ... 20 Sinn Fein 3 Labor ... ... 15 Independents ... ... ... 8 Farmers 0 POSITION UNCERTAIN. LONDON, June 13. It is impossible to forecast any pracr ticai results of the Irish Free State elections until it is known whether the Republicans axe going td continue their policy of-not taking the oath. Up to the present the Constitutionalists arc fairly safe; but complications might, arise if-the Republicans enter the Dad and try to form an alliance with the sections opposed to the Government. Labor is satisfied with its gains, and will probably secure twenty-two seats. It is doubtful if the farmers’ candidates will reach their pre-election strength. In any case the distribution of the transfer votes must profoundly affect the result. ' .
