SAW SKULL MOVING
GRAVEDIGGER GETS SHOCK Turning up a skull while digging a grave recently in a cemetery near Thionvillc, France, a grnvcdigtfer placed it carefully on the ground above him and continued bis work. Looking up later, be was amazed to see-that the skull bad left its original position and was t ivi.ug perceptibly towards him. He dropped his spade in fright and dashed -r ; l the cemetery and ran to the village inn, where he recounted his story. ■ His panic-stricken appearance, convinced the people that something uncanny was bn foot., so, arming themselves, they, went tp. the .cemetery. Again, sure enough, the skull was slowly moving. Summoning' up his courage, the gravedigger hit it a terrific blow with his spade, smashing it to pieces. .At (ho fame time he killed a Irog inside it, -which had- been responsible for the fnvsterious movements.
