Asked his opinion of the Dairy Conti ol Board, the Minister said that, in his opinion, the board made a mistake ia rushing its fences—-trying ti do in one year wn-ts it should have taken ten years to accomplish. Ho pointed out that, so far ns the present criticism of the Prime Minister was concerned, it was not fair for tho critics to concentrate their iire on Mr Coates. not meet with success. It was rot Tooley Street or the large financial interests which opposed the Dairy Control Board, hut, the consumer in England. ■ , , . A vote of thanks, proposed by Mr A. Stuart (Runnymods) and seconded ny Mr Bruce MT.eod, was earned by acclamation.
