Owing to stormy conditions tho race had to be postponed, and was finished in semidarkness. The sculling championship was won comfortably by Pearce (New South Walts), with Cambridge (Victoria) second and Marsh (Tasmania) third. SOCCER. CZECHO- SLO VAKIA TEAM. PERTH, May 9. As tho result of Bennaneo’s win at the Hawke’s Bay Meeting its weight for the A.R.C. Cornwall Handicap has been raised Gib to 9.5.
