BROTHERS’ BILLIARDS MATCH

LONDON, April 29. Fred and Cecil Harris, who are twins, competed in the final of the ex-service men’s billiards tournament at Shepperton (Middelsex). The marker repeatedly mixed the scores, until the president of the club asked one of the players to take off his coat.

This device to secure distinction between the two was successful, but when the match was over, and the player had assumed his coat, the president congratulated the wrong man. ,
