The result of the election of officers of the New Zealand Workers’ Union, which was recently conducted by ballot, was announced to-day by the general secretary : (Mr Cook) as follows National president, M> C. E. Baldwin' (Christchurch) ; vice-presidents, Messrs A. Brown (Christchurch) and J. Whyte (Wellington), general secretary, Mr A. Cook (Wellington), elected unopposed; delegates to the Alliance of Labor conference, Messrs C. E. Baldwin (Christchurch) and J. Whyte (Wellington); executive council—Messrs A. J. Middlemiss (Gore), R. Eddv FWnirnato), A. Meighan (Christchurch. R. Tutaki (Ferhhill), J. Thom FWniroa), and H. •T. Walters (Mount Mnnnganni); organ-isers—-Messrs C. E. Baldwin (ChristchnrchV J. Donnelly (Grevtown). J. G. Leckie (Timaru). A. J. Middleniiss (Gore). A. O’Knne (Gore). J. Townsend (Wanganui!. J, Whyte (Wellington)’, W. Wallace (Nntrier), and J. B.
