At a meeting of the Rugby League Council last night there was a consensus of , opinion that teh time was inopportune to send a dominion team to tour Australia, but it was thought a visit from an Australian side would tend to improve tho code in the southern Leagues, it was decided to invite the Australian board to send a team to New Zealand this season, or, failing that, a New South Wales side.
