A LARGE SUM
ACCOUNTANT CHARGED \.. ..... [Psa United Frees Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May 3. Charged with stealing £1,036 from the Todd Motor Company, Walter John Clark Aitcheson, aged thirty, an accountant, appeared ,in court to-day and pleaded not guiltq. He was committed for trial. According to a statement made to a detective, accused said he had taken the money for betting purposes.
