TRANSFER TO CANBERRA Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, April 28. (Received April 28, at 10.5 a.m.) The Parliamentary Buildings at Melbourne/ which for the past quarter of a century have housed the Federal Parliament, have been formally handed ba-k to the State. All records and books from the library, and most of the historic (portraits, have been sent to Canberra, where they will be placed m the new Parliament Buildings in readiness for the official opening by the Duke of York on May 9.
