(Received April 28, at 10.5 a.m.) Tho faction dispute in the State Labor Party is at present at a standstill, each side waiting for tho other to act. Tho next development will probably occur when the Federal Executive of tho Australian Labor Party meets at Canberra next week. The dispute will then be revived as to which body should represent New South Wales at that conference. Each State has the right to appoint six delegates. Tho Srale Conference and the Majority Executive both claim to be the constitutional body.
