FEDERATION OF SOCIETIES [Pea United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 10. At a conference held in Wellington yesterday ‘‘The New Zealand Federation of Caledonian and Scots Societies ’ ’ was formed, with tho object of uniting all Scots in the dominion, and exercising a fraternal interest in compatriots arriving from overseas. Mr B. H. Nimmo was appointed first chief of the federation, Mr 11. Hogg chieftain, Mr H, S. Hannah secretary and treasurer, and Messrs W. Stuart Wilson and J. MacCallum and MacLachlan as the executive.
