Tress Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, April 1. (Received April 2, at 12.25 p.m.) There are indications of squally weather for the boat race; hence the toss involving the choice of bank is likely to be most important. Both crews are fitted with water chutes, the Oxford crew adding “traps” to prevent the water moving about in the boats. Cambridge contains foqr old Blues and Oxford five. It is noticeable that Oxford, following the initial changes due to illness, have improved daily, and altogether are fitter and better than on their arrival. _ Nevertheless, the consensus of opinion is that it will he a very difficult task to overtake Cambridge’s superior watermanship. Oxford form may be said to be only superior in calm conditions. Cambridge has the advantage of Brown as coxswain, who has already coxed jthre® victorious Cambridge crows. =======
