INCREASED TRAM FARES
AUCKLAND REJECTS PENNY SECTION [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 1. The City Council adopted increased tram fares beyond third sections, to operate from May 1. A proposal to introduce a one-mile section and A penny section fare was rejected.
