That President Zogu, of Albania, received £140,000 for signing the Pact of Tirana giving Italy a virtual protectorate over Albania, is one o. the allegations made by M. Calucci, ex-Gov-ernor of Valeria, who escaped from prison at Tirana, where he was confined on account of his criticism of the President’s policy. M. Calucci, who has arrived at Belgrade, further alleges that terror is now reigning in Albania, TV hero all males between 22 and 23 have been mobilised. Italy is landing war material at Valeria and Durazzo.
