SOUTH TO LOSE SEAT

POPULATION DRIFT [Per United Press Association.] V,'ELLINGTON, Ala rob 30. The Electoral Boundary Commissioners are expected shortly to proceed with the revision of the boundaries of tho Parliamentary electorates in the North and South Islands according to the disclosures of the last census on the matter of the distribution of population. Tho census showed that the North had 63.39 per cent, of the population and the South 36.61. This moans the inevitable loss of a seat from the South to tho North, but there has been a suggestion among southern Parliamentarians thafj the North should be given its extra seat and that the Souh’s representation should remain unchanged. Apparently this view has not impressed tho Government, since the belated revision is now to nroceed.
