- “ INTERCEPTED WIRELESS MESSAGES [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, March 31. The Secretary of the General Post Office advises that wireless messages intercepted from s.s. Roggeveen indicate that the vessel went ashore on North Reef near Townsville. The vessel is high’ and dry, but apparently in no danger, as assistance was not asked for. , , [Townsville is a North Queensland port.]
