MR HENRY FORD
ACCIDENT WHILE MOTORING MINOR OPERATION PERFORMED NO SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS. Press Association—By Telegraph— Copyright NEW YORK, March 30. (Received March 31, at 9.60 a.m.) Mr Henry Ford was taken to the Henry Ford Hospital at Detroit, where he is being treated for injuries sustained when his Ford coupe was forced off the south drive. The car plunged down a 20ft embankment, striking a tree. Mr Ford was knocked unconscious, but soon recovered consciousnes, and walked towards his estate, where he met the gatekeeper. The latter summoned Mrs Ford, and both took Mr Ford home. It was found necessary the following day to remove him to the hospital in an ambulance, where a minor operation was performed.
The doctors now pronounce him resting easily, with no serious complications expected. Mr Ford was driving alone at the time of the accident.
