ANNUAL SPORTS R. D. B. EATERSON WINS SENIOR CUP.Tire John M'Glashan College sports concluded yesterday afternoon, but owing to the weather conditions the junior events were not held. Some good races were witnessed, but tho times registered were of a comparatively low standard. Most of the jumping events were postponed. Tho senior cup was won by R. D. B. Paterson with Pinpoints, while Sidoy ran close with 13. Several races for the junior cup have still to be decided, but W. W. Thomson is loading so far with 7 points, E. Smith running second with 6. The following carried out tho official duties Messrs H. D. Morgan (referee), A. M. Sidey, T. C. Ross, James Begg, H. L. Cook, C. M. Gilray, J. M. Simmers, and Dr Herrington (judges), C. C. Robinson (timekeeper), W. G. M'Clymont (starter), T. D. Holmes (marksman), T S. Holme fsteward), A. R. Malcolm and C. 0. Brasch (Press stewards). Results:— 220 Yards (open).—Cup heat: Sidey 1, Burt 2, Begg 3; time, 26 l-ssec. Second heat: Chapman (10yds) 1, M'George 2, Milne 3; time, 26 3-ssec. Final : M'George 1, Milne 2, Chapman 3. 120 Yards Hurdles.—Cup heat; Paterson 1, Begg 2, Burt 3; time, 20isec. Second heat: Gormack (oyds) 1, Elder (one hurdle down) 2, Small (one Hurdle down and syds) 3; time, 20 3-6 sec. Final; Gormack 1, Elder 2. Time, 20sec. Only starters. Sack Race.—White 1, S. H. Paterson 2, J. Begg 3. About twenty-five competitors, most of whom fell. Milo (open).—Gray (scr) 1, G. E. Thomson (scr) 2, Paterson (scr) 3. Time, smin 21sec. Won by syds. Senior Long Jump.—Rl D. Won by Oyds. 880 Yards (under 14). —M'Kenzie (scr) 1, R. Thomson (40yds) 2, Young (60yds) 3. Time, 2min 46 2-ssec. Three-legged Race.—Young" and S. H. Patterson 1, M Begg and J. Begg 2, R. Thomson and S. R. Young 3. 830 Yards (open).-—Gray (oyds) 1, 6. E. Thomson (scr) 2, R. D. Paterson (scr) 3. Time, 2miu 26sec. A good finish. Gray just caught Thomson and won by a yard, 2yds separating second and third. Standard Relay Race.—Standard V. I, Standard -IV. 2, Standard VI. 3. Form Relay Race.—sth Form B 1, sth Form C 2, -6th Form D 3. Old Boys’ Race.—P.. M'Skimming 1, T. Caffiil 2, and A. Rankine 3. The senior cup points: R.- D. B, Paterson 13], Sidey 13, G. E. Thomson 10, Burt 6, Begg 3J. The final points for the junior cup have not yet been decided, but W. W. Thomson is leading so far with 7, with Smith 6, M'Kenzie 3, and I«ary 2.
