Among ' the many items-, worthy of ■ special mention in to-night’s change of programme at His Majesty’s Theatre are “Scratcher” Ross’s screaming burlesque on ‘ The Lighthouse-keeper,’ also as “ the man who sunk the submarines,” and later on in the programme ha has the assistance^' of the whole company in ‘ Arcadee,’.. a burlesque on ‘ The Arcadians.’ This is said to be a gem of comedy, while Charles Albert will be seen in an entirely new vole as “The Droll.” Fred Webber and Dorothy Ryder have a new and original singing, dancing, and musical sketch,- with which is interspersed some clover comedy. Elaine Mayo and Mark Leslie have further new terpsichorean eccentricities, while the more serious side is in the capable bands of Walter Kingsley, Thelma Trott, and John Monifort. The latter two are associated in a fine duet, while Mr Montfort and Miss Marie Landon have a pleasing duo. The operatic selection for this programme has been chosen from ' Carmen.’ This item alone is said to bo worth a pilgrimage. Walter Kingsley will sing ‘Lolita’ and ‘Sergeantmajor on Parade,’ and Alan Kitsnn will introduce his “ girls from everywhere.” The season is for throe more nights, and a special price matinee on Saturday. Plans are at The Bristol and day sales at The Geyser.
