A FIELD FOR-TOURISTS
. mmm insuiry [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON. March 30. A completely new territory, full of prospective tourists for New Zealand, is likely to be effectively drawn upon as the result of a trial visit recently paid to some of tho northern beauty spots by Mr Frank Reedy, of Dallas, Texas, and a small company. _The_ object of the visit was to test New Zealand as a field lor future organised tourist parties on a much larger scale. The Government Publicity Office placed the usual facilities at, the disposal of the visitors, ami a member of the staff (Mr R. W. Fenton) accompanied them. ■Mr Reedy indicated that the tourist potentialities of the dominion were such that next year he intended to bring out from Texas a party of between fifty and sixty tourists, who would carry out a fortnight’s tour, doing both the North nml Islands.
