TWO OFFICIALS PaESiGti At the meeting of the executive of the Otago Rugby League last evening the resignations were accepted oi Messrs H. Divers (secretary) and J. Watt (a, vice-president). Both have been associated with the -game since its inception here three years ago._ The following notice of motion was tabled by Mr Scddon ;—“ln accordance with Rule 39 of tho constitution 1 hereby tender notice of motion that tho annual meeting of the Otago Rugby Football League held in these premises on March 21, 1927, bo abrogated, in as much as the proceedings were irregular and that tho rules of the conustitution have boon contravened—namely, Rule 4, classification of members, and part Rule ti. And further, that this meeting shall not make any appointment for the position of secretary pending an explanation the financial members of the League in general meeting by Messrs Cooper, Rice, Necs, and Snow’ regarding their unconstitutional actions in dispossessing Messrs Longworth, Hughes, and Gillies as officers of the Otago Rugby Football League.”
