A LENGTHY LIST FIGURES OF WESTERN TRIBUNAL. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 11. (Received January 12, at 9.15 a.m.) The Constantinople correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ states that during the last twenty-one months the _ Western Tribunal of Independence, sitting at Angora, dealt with 340 eases, involvinv 2,351 persons, of whom 948 were convicted') 204 hanged,_ and 635 imprisoned for terms varying from one to thirty years. The principal charges were brigandage, plotting revolution, treason, and spying. The figures of the Eastern Tribunal have not yet been published, but it is believed that they are heavier than those of tho Western Tribunal.— ‘ The Times.’
