SENATE INVESTIGATION A SENSATION PROMISED. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, December 23. The Senate is preparing to open an investigation which may rival the Doheny affair. Early in January evidence will bo called by Senator King, of Utah, concerning the reports that American oil men seeking concessions in Mosul have influenced negotiations for the Lausanne Treaty and the restoring of diplomatic relations with Germany.— Sydney 1 Sun ’ Cable.
