The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Paris correspondent says that official figures show the yield of this year’s French vintage to be considerably lower than last year's total. The total. production.of wine, excluding Alsace and Lorraine, is estimated at 40,564,101 hectolitres, compared with 62,411,680 in 1925.
