A HAUNTED PALACE

* Kensington Palace, besides being the birthplace of Queen Victoria and Queen Mary, has other claims to fame, including'two ghosts (says the ‘Star’). Ft is one of the most desirable of the many residences .at His Majesty’s disposal. Its convenient situation for town, the beautiful gardens and roomy interior, render it admirably suited for its Royal occupants. Of late years, of course, it lias been split up into a number of suites, three of the best of which are occupied by Princess Louise and Princess Beatrice, the King’s aunts, and the Dowager Marchioness of Milford Haven, the King’s cousin, whilst the Queen’s eldest brother, the Marquis of Cambridge, occupies the Clock House. The ghosts are those of two queens, Mary 11., the wife of William of Orange, and Queen Caroline of Brunswick.
