NEW GUINEA MURDERS

(Received December 21, at 10 a.m.) A wireless from Bulolo states that thirty natives have been arrested for the murder of gold-seekers at Rabaul village. .The district is still, unsettled, and travellers have been warned to avoid it. [A party of prospectors consisting of fisher, P.age, Britain, Nichols, Marley, and Collins arrived at a native village, which they found deserted. They were about to nave a meal when, they were surprised by a shower of missiles. They were unable to reach their rides, which they had left some distance away. Britain and Nichols escaped. The bodies of Collins, Marley, Fisher, and Pago were afterwards found.]
