CONTROLLER-GENERAL OF PRISONS
MR BALLARD’S APPOINTMENT CONFIRMED [Pfcn United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, December 20. The appointment of Mr Dallard as Controller-General of Prisons was recently the subject of an appeal by an officer of the Prisons Department. _ It is announced to-day that the appeal is dismissed by the Public Service Appeal Board, and the appointment of Mr Dallard is therefore confirmed.
