Tho Opihi is now due on Tuesday from Westport via Timaru. She will sail the same day. The Karetu is due on Tuesday from Sydney via Bluff to discharge and load, lienee she proceeds to Lyttelton; thence Sydney. Tho Kurow was to sail this afternoon for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Gale arrived this morning from Lyttelton. Owing to a scarcity of labor she will not sail till Monday evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. ,■ The Calm is due on Friday evening to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, Welling-' ton, and Wanganui. The Breeze is now expected on Tuesday evening from Lyttelton. She will sail on Wednesday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Tho Storm, loading at Wanganui, should arrive here from Bluff about November 27. The City' of Canton will sail on Tuesday for P.ortland (Victoria) to finish unloading. The Euahine left Port Chalmers today for Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, and Wellington to fill up for Home. The Oreti should arrive to-morrow from Port Craig with timber. She is to sail on Tuesday for Invercargill and Port Craig. The John is to load here on Tuesday for Wellington and Wanganui. Tho Whangape was to nave left Ti?naru yesterday ■ for Sydney and Newcastle to load for Dunedin, Oamaru, and Bluff. The Canadian Explorer left. New York on November 11 for Boston and Halifax in continuation of her voyage from Auckland. The vessel sailed from Auckland on October 4. THE FERRY SERVICE. . , _ The Wahine, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.40 a.m. to-day, and - passengers ■ and mails connected with the 8.60 express. THE ARAWA A wireless message received by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company from the captain of the Arawa states that the vessel will arrive at Auckland on Thursday next from Liverpool. The Arawa is bringing general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at this port about December 9. THALATTA ARRIVING. The Norwegian motor ship Thalatta (5,671 tons gross) was duo in the stream at 3 p.m., and should be berthed at the Rattray street wharf this evening. The vessel is. from South African ports via Sydney, and has principally wattle bark to discharge at Dunedin. ROTORUA LEFT SOUTHAMPTON. Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Rotorua left Southampton on November 17 for Auckland, Wellington, arid Bluff via Curacao and Panama. The vessel, which is bringing passengers, mails, and cargo, is due at Auckland on December 23, MAHENO FROM MELBOURNE. The, Union Company’s Maheno is to 'leave Melbourne at 10 a.m. on Wednesday with passengers, mails, and cargo for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Due hero on December 2, she should sail the following day for Bluff and Melbourne. NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. Advice received by the Union Company states that the R.M.S. Niagara left Vancouver at 10 p.m. on Wednesday last for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva. She is dhe at Auckland on December 6. PORT MELBOURNE REPORTED. En route from London with cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, New Plymouth, and Auckland, the C. and D. Line steamer Port Melbourne left Colcn on November 16 for Wellington, where she is due on December 8. MERNOO LEFT COLON, Advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Mernoo arrived at Colon on November 13, and sailed again ou November 15 for Auckland, whore she is due on December 1[). The Mernoon' has cargo from Montreal for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Picton, Sydney, and Brisbane. THE TRELISSICK. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the Trelissick arrived at Montreal on November 15, to complete loading. She is to sail from Montreal next Thursday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. RUAPEHFs PASSENGER LIST.
