COMFIDEHTIAL MESSAGES DIVULGED ‘ BOARD’S CENSURE IN HIS ABSENCE [Pbb United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 17. The Dairy Producers’ Board began its monthly meeting this morning, when all the members now in New Zealand were present except Mr Goodfellow, who was granted leave of absence on account of private business, and Mr Timpany, from whom no explanation for absence was received. The following resolution _ was unanimously passed:— ‘‘ That this board deprecates the publication of cablegrams and confidential information by individual members of the board, as such information and documents are not the property of individual members, but of the board itself.” WHY HE WAS ABSENT WRONG POSTAL ADDRESS. WELLINGTON, November 18. The absence of Mr Timpany from the Dairy Board meeting was explained in a message received by the board yesterday. In response to a telegram from it, Mr Timpany advised that he had just received notice of the meeting, which had been addressed to Timpanys, instead of to Woodlands. It was explained that Mr Timpany had given Timpanys as his address in his last letter to the board.
