There is intense interest in Mr Lang’s next move over the State Governor question. A strong move is afoot, supported by public bodies and the majority of the newspapers, against any change without securing a mandate from the people. COLONIAL OFFICE’S ATTITUDE. LONDON, November 16. (Received November 17, at 1.5 p.m.) The Colonial Office has not been apprised of the developments regarding the New Smith Wales Governorship since Mr M'Tiernan disclosed the difference between the Ministry and the Governor, in which the Colonial Office refused to intervene. The position re- 1 mains unchanged. The demand for Sir Dudley De Chair’s recall is not regarded seriously.
