ROYAL SHOW OPENS
CATTLE AWARDS [Her United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 16. The Royal Show opened this morning in unfavorable weather, a high wind being followed by heavy showers. The awards to noon were:— . CATTLE. Ayrshire cow, four years and over, in calf prior to July 1, 1923.—A. C. Cribble’s (Otahuhn) Lucy ITT. 1; D. Buchanan’s (Palmerston North) Bunty 2. Cow, 3 years and under 4, which had calved since July 1, 1923. —D. Buch.anan’s Maggie Gordon 1, C. Bailey’s (Huntly) Sympathy 2. Cow, 3 years and _ under 4, visibly in calf (calved since July 1, 1923).—5. Bailey’s Ivanhoe Clara 1, T. S. K. Gordon’s (Paerata) Earlstoun Joy 2. Cow, 2 years and under 3 (calved since July 1, 1924). —J. A. Watts’s (Cambridge) Lariston Gladys 1, J. S. K. Gordon’s Earlstoun Mary 2.
