RECEPTION AT LANCASTER HOUSE

LONDON, October 20. (Received October 21, at 1.30 a.m.) A thousand guests, including the Prime Ministers of the dominions and other delegates and their ladies attended the Government reception at Lancaster House. Mr and Mrs Baldwin received the guests on the grand staircase, where the scene was most brilliant. Members of Cabinet, members of Parliament, members of the House of Lords, General Allenhy, and other generals of the World War were present.
