GOVERNMENT NOTICES. Tho Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1926. LAND TAX PAYABLE. BY Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency tbo Governor-Gene-ral in Council on tho 20th day of September, 1926, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that tho duty by way of land tax leviable under the said Act should bo paid in one sum on FRIDAY, tho sth day of November, 1926, at the office of tho Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that tho said duty will bo payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if tho tax is not paid on or before 261 h November, 1926. Tho liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should bo paid on or before tho prescribed date, otherwise tho additional percentage accrues; any overpayment will bo adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted from the office of tho Commissioner of Taxes on or about 29th October, 1926.
