BORSTAL ESCAPEE -CAUGHT

PRISON OFFICIAL’S QUICK CAPTURE. [Per United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, October 21. Allan Edwin Bollington, who escaped from tho Borstal Institution at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, was recaptured at 2 o’clock this near Mataura. Bollington’s home is in Christchurch, and it was anticipated that he would work in that direction. Prison officers motored to Mataura, and waited near the bridge. Their surmise proved correct, and they were waiting for the fugitive when ho approached on a bicycle taken from the institution.
