SPECIAL MERRYMAKING

To-night the Tudor Hall, Savoy, should ring with joyful merrymaking. The occasion will be the weekly Thursday informal dance, but extended and brightened to an extent that should make it a truly memorable occasion. First of all, the* hour of closing down will bo 12.30 a.m., instead of 11 p.m. Then special attractions are to be provided, and finally the presence later in tho evening of Otago and Canterbury contestants in the beauty contest, and also of members of the vaudeville companies playing at His Majesty’s and Princess Theatres, will lend zest to the proceedings. Evening dress need not bo worn.
