The final of the scries of. popular '•onccrts organised by the choir ot the On mlas Street Methodist Church .was icltl in the Church Hall last night, i hc proceedings opened with the choir s ■cindering of ‘Stars ot the Summer \iiTht,’ under the baton of Mr It. Jruce. The following also rendered toms Misses A. Young, A. Hendra, •J. Davidson, D. Deegan, Valda Hor!crn, and Hazel Hannan, Messrs J. M. ■’onfell, F. Miller, and Eon Grahnn (solos), Mr and Mrs MMndoc (duct), Madame llcggiardo’s pupils (character songs), Mr Duncan, Misses V. Murdock and Anna Briascs (vocal and instrumental trio). Madame Rcggiardo, Miss A. Young, and Mr A. Burton were the accompanists. The Rev. IC. (). Blamires expressed the thanks of the audience to the choir for organising the concert, and to the performers for their services. Special mention was made of the work of Madame Reggiardo and her pupils. Reviewing the whole series of concerts, he also paid Iribue to Miss Aslin, and Noliim ker, and Messrs Ernest Drake, W. R. Don, and J. Paterson for their assistance.
