CELLAR FIRE AT BROWN, EWING’S.
This afternoon the Citv Fire Brigade was called by an automate alarm to Brown. Ewing, and Co.’s main building, Rnnccs street. A fire had started in a packing case being used as a rubbish receptacle m the cellar. The fire was promptly extinguished, but considerable damage was done in various departments by smoko.
