'WATCH YOUR STEP’
The box plan for ‘Watch Your Step’ opened this morning at The Bristol, and already the advance bookings denote a highly .successful season. 'Watch Your Step’ commences with a matinee on Labor Day (Monday next), and continues its cbeorinoss that evening and the following Tuesday and Wednesday. It is described as “a dainty morsel plucked from the tree of happiness,” and as being an emissary , from laughterland. Combined with physical jerks and musical successes, it should make a strong appeal. It has no distinctive plot, but is very spectacular. It will bo produced by Mr Percy James. Every costume and scene has been made locally. The songs to bffl featured include ‘ Valencia,’ ‘Spain,’ ‘Picador,’ ‘That Certain Party,’ ‘After the Dawn,’ ‘The Midnight Waltz,’ ‘ Grandfather’s Day,’ ‘ Hello, Aloha,’ ‘When It’s' Lovo Time in Hawaii,’ and ‘Chang,’ whilst some of the scenrus contain ‘ The Land of the Almond Blossoms,’ ‘ Christmas Night in Tokio,’ ‘The Midnight Waltz,’ ‘Sioux Indian Camp,’ ‘ Our Lady of the Snows,’ l On the Beach nt Waikiki,’ ‘Grandfather’s Days,’ ‘Your Green Hat,’ ‘Gretna Green Fuyrc,’ ‘Punch and Judy,’ etc. The vocalists include Mr Percy James, Madame Marjorie Cadman, A. J. Lungley, and Miss Mollie Andrews. A specially selected orchestra under tho direction of Mrs Walter Haggitt will render tho incidental music. The" dances have been arranged by Miss Lappan. ‘Watch Your Step ’ is to be presented by Mr J. V. Hanna under the auspices of the Y.M.C.A. The day sale advance tickets may bo obtained at tho Geyser soda fountain.
