At a meeting of the Auckland Swimming Centre opposition was voiced to tho proposed New Zealand tour of the Australian lady swimmers, Misses Claire CouldwclL and Ettie Robertson. It was resolved to approve of the tour if it was curtailed to a certain extent, and the meeting agreed to only one appearance in Auckland at a £25 guarantee.
