Tho_ market was very firm, and competition was keen for all lines showing quality. There was still some irregularity in broader types, especially doubtful yielding and burry lines. Comebacks and crossbreds were firm at late rates. Greasy merino sold up to 29Jd, which, so far, is the top price this season.

LONDON, October 14, An importer of Australian eggs by the Mooltan is so impressed by their excellent quality that he is sending a trial lot to Germany, where he is hopeful of opening up a new market.
