SAVOY DANCES

Dancers flocked to the Tudor Hall (Savoy) last night, when the weekly Merrymakers’ dance went happily torward. This Thursday fixture has become firmly established in popular favor, and deservedly so. To-night Savoy supper patrons will enjoy the jovial cabaret conditions ■ have proved such an attraction on Fridays of late. This innovation, more than any other introduced by the management, has proved that the Dunedin public, given reasonable opportuntiy, are willing to bo made happy and bright. To-morrow night there will bo the race-night dance, arranged at -the j urgent request of thosewho appreciate j something specially delightful, and at, which it is expected large numbers of j visiting and local racegoers will he, present.
