At a conference of the People’s Parly nt Cologne Herr Curtins (head of the Trade Board) outlined the commercial progress that had been made. He said that the influx of foreign capital in 1926 exceeded lour milliards of marks. There had been _ a phenomenal increase in the deposits in the savings banks to 1.789,000,000 marks. The exports last August were valued at 833,000,000, compared with 130,000,000 in January. 192-L It was estimated that the 1926 exports would bo twothirds of those in 1913. » •
