AUCKLAND, August 17

The Hon. R. H. S. Abbot, M.L.C. (Victoria), who was a through passenger by the Niagara, said that in financial quarters in London they say New Zealand can _ got any money it wants, and in political circles New Zealand is held in tho highest estimation. When in London he was particularly struck by tho very high position tho dominion holds' in the estimation of the people who guide the destinies of the Empire. “In London,” he said, “they think that New Zealand has immense possibilities of developing hydroelectric power, and utilising it for commercial purposes.”-
