MOANA TENNIS CLUB
Tho committee, in presenting the report of the Moana Tennis Club, congratulates the members on having a successful year. Owing to the bad weather and attraction of the Exhibition the courts were not used as much as usual. The membership was fully maintained. The president, Mr F. HU Campbell (who was abroad), was very much missed during' his absence, ana members were all glad to welcome him back. Two teams were entered for the interclub matches, and their records were:—A grade; Flayed 4, won 4. B grade; Played 6, won 4, lost 2, The A grade team won the A grade banner. Several members competed at tho Easter tournament, and Dr Moody paired with Page, and was successful in winning tho championship doubles. Through the death of Mr B, B. Couston the club lost one of its keenest and most enthusiastic supporters. Tennis had never a more ardent or unselfish worker.
